- Job Description :

The Leader will be accountable for ensuring that our services  support each resident’s strengths and capabilities, assisting them in continuing to learn and develop socially. The Team Lead will also offer direction and assistance to the team and ensure the team maintains our values and commitment to delivering quality service to residents.

- Responsibilities :

  • Promoting a supportive and collaborative culture within your team.
  • Ensuring a continued emphasis on residents' strengths and discovering new ways to enhance these.
  • Understanding and implementing core Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Taking on management responsibilities when the Person in Charge is absent.
  • Nurturing the development of team members to become Team Leaders, while we support you in your professional growth.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 7 qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Studies or equivalent, or be working towards this; alternatively, hold a FETAC Level 5 qualification with 5+ years' experience in Disability Services; or
  • Hold a Nursing Degree and be registered in the relevant division of the live register of nurses, maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Experience in supervising staff is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full manual driving licence.
  • Knowledge and understanding of H.I.Q.A regulation
