Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the staff team
• Ensure implementation of person-centred support plans
• Promote independence, choice, and inclusion
• Maintain HIQA compliance and organisational standards
• Support audits, reporting, and governance activities
• Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
• Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and MDTs
• Support quality improvement and continuous development
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and homely environment

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Good understanding of intellectual disability services

Requirements

• Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in social care/disability services
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory/management experience
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and safeguarding
• Full clean driving licence
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
